Catherine (Casey) Guilfoyle joined the Darpel team in February of 2014, having a strong desire to work in the Elder Law field. Based on her desire to work with the elderly and their families, she is focusing her efforts on planning issues and strategies for Medicaid as well as Veteran’s benefits.
In July of 2014, Casey became an accredited attorney for the preparation and presentation of claims for Veteran’s Benefits before the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
Education: Casey received her bachelor’s degree from Thomas More College and her J.D. at the University of Cincinnati.
Experience: Casey worked as a commercial litigator with the law firm of Thomas & Thomas. In 1995, she became a Certified Mediator with the Mediation Center of Kentucky in Lexington and maintained a private Family Mediation practice for several years.
Casey and her husband, Mark, have five children and reside in Edgewood, KY.
